WHAT IS KATAMARI DAMACY REROLL?
A Puzzle / Action game originally released in Japan on March 2004 and in the states on September 2004 for PlayStation 2.
The updated title was released December 17, 2018 on Nintendo Switch.
SECOND PLAY THROUGH
This game has huge replay value, especially if your gaming style consists of “completionist” tendencies.
Due to the introduction to We Love Katamari, the sequel to Katamari Damacy, I have fallen in love with the art style, the game play and the AMAZINGLY addictive soundtrack of each title.
THE SOUNDTRACK
As I am writing this, I am thinking to myself:
“I probably need to do a separate blog post about JUST the music in each title. You know, save the reader from a HUGE digression of the 100%.”
With that, let’s move on to what will be guiding this completionist journey thru this game.

Beyond the opening sequence, you will be moved to the home planet.
Here, you have the options to access data, adjust sound, enjoy presents and view the collection of items that have been rolled up into stars.
– Objects
This section shows the objects in which you are able to roll up.
When collecting, check this section to see what you missed.
– Locations
This displays the locations in which to roll. (shows the stages!)
Find out which items are on what stage here.
– Size Chart
This displays the size parameters to meet in order to roll up objects.
Figure out what size the Katamari has to be in order to roll bigger objects.
– Names
This displays the names of the item in which to roll.
Find out the name of EVERY item that you roll up in case you forget during the roll up!!
– Photo Album
This displays the snapshots in which have been collected in the game.
You are able to take pics as you roll through the game. This is your chance to get creative!
